Kit Hevron Mahoney

I have been busy painting for our holiday show at Brushstrokes Studio Gallery here in Denver. This is one of a series I am doing for the gallery, hence the size and price which are different than my daily painting offerings. I have been looking for new ways to see and express myself and have gotten really excited about viewing reflections of people in art museum floors where the final painting tells the story of the moment without defining all of the elements. I will be offering some as daily paintings again when I get caught up!

I have been wanting to do these paintings for a long time. Being passionate about flowers and gardens I wanted to go close up to see the individual beauty of these various flowers.
